KEYWORKER – FOUNDATION SKILLS is a one-year QQI L5 course for those seeking to develop a career path in the essential role of KEYWORKER. Key working is a core role in the provision of individualised care to service users empowering them to be the drivers of their care planning, thereby facilitating them to achieve their own goals and developmental milestones. Key working is used throughout the social care sector to motivate service users to identify positive goals and improve their quality of life.  This course will act as a foundational pathway to Higher Education to achieve a QQI Level 7/8 degree in a related area.
